Soaking in the land

Israel - Jerusalem - Gallilee - what a blessing to finally walk the ancient pathways. Some people are happy to listen to tour guides and capture the memories on camera. I found myself responding in silence and awe, preferring to savour and soak in the land, sketching and capturing the moments in water colour washes.
